About Junkzen

We built Junkzen because getting rid of junk shouldn't be a project.

Upfront pricing you see before you commit. Online booking without the phone tag. A crew that shows up, hauls everything out, and leaves the space clean.

Our story

Same trucks. Same crew. No middlemen.

Junkzen runs its own trucks with its own crew. Not a franchise, not a contractor network. The people who show up at your door are the same ones who loaded the price into the system.

We started in Silver Spring, MD after 25+ years of hauling in the DC Metro area. We saw the same problems everywhere: vague estimates, no-show crews, surprise charges, and a process that treated customers like they were the ones doing a favor.

The name — Junkzen — signals the fix. A cleaner, more considered take on hauling. You see the price up front. You book online. The crew shows up when they said they would. That's the whole thing.

How we work

Three things we got right.

Upfront instant pricing

You see the price before you commit. Pick from a real item list with real costs attached. No estimate games, no on-site renegotiation, no waiting for a callback to find out what it costs.

Online booking without phone tag

Book a pickup or request a quote straight from the site. You see available time windows before you commit. Same-day, morning, afternoon — whatever fits your schedule.

Simple, friction-free experience

Getting rid of stuff should be easy, full stop. Tell us what you've got, pick a time, and we handle the rest. Two uniformed crew members carry everything out from wherever it is.

The crew

Two people. Branded truck. There when they said.

Every standard job runs with a two-person crew. Diverse team, branded green uniforms with the white Junkzen logo, work gloves. They introduce themselves, confirm what's going, and get to work.

No day laborers pulled off a bench. No unmarked van. The crew at your door works for Junkzen, and they know the job before they arrive.

What you can count on

The things we actually do.

We show up when we say we will

You pick a time window. We're in it. If something changes on our end, you hear about it before the window closes.

If we said we'd take it, we take it

The item list you booked is the item list we haul. No last-minute exclusions or upcharges once we're on-site.

If something changes, we tell you first

On-site conditions sometimes differ from the booking. When they do, we stop, explain, and get your call before we do anything.
